A sub-field of AI that uses machine learning models trained on large data sets to create new content, such as written text, code, images, music, simulations, and videos. These models can generate novel outputs based on input data or user prompts. Examples of Generative AI are ChatGPT, Gemini, Dall-E, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion to name a few.
Example of a Prompt: Make a blue Spiderman climbing a wall. It will search thousands of images for Spiderman climbing walls to produce a Spiderman climbing on a wall and make him blue.
